It's open. And makes me happy.

The First Six Weeks....

So Yesterday marked the end of the first six weeks of my internship. In one week, I will have been married for a whole three months. I am learning a CRAZY amount.... I'm amazed my brain is still functioning... But here are some highlights....

•There is an ibuprofen cabinet in the workroom.... I have used it four times.
•Horse Radish Sauce is gross.
•It is not nice to be funny at someone else's expense.
•I do in fact have an administrative gift.
•Good news is hard to keep to yourself
•I like and need hugs.
•Just because you quit eating fried food, doesn't mean you will lose weight... In fact, one may experience weight gain.
•I am a slave to my own appetite.
•I need girlfriends. Desperately.
•I don't function well when I'm hurting.
•I love the state of Kansas
•I am most definitely a crier.
•A clean apartment makes my world a better place.
•I need to start going to garage sales.
•Cooking really isn't that scary.
•It's ok to be content that Nate is jobless.... But we would love for something to work out.
•I love getting to know our volunteers. They are spectacular.
•I read like a kindergartner... but there is so much good stuff out there.
•I am a light weight.
•I am the messy one.
•It does get better.....

I am excited for what's to come.

The Prayer Appointed for the Week....

Grant that I, Lord, may not be anxious about earthly things, but love things heavenly; and even now, while I am placed among things that are passing away, hold fast to those that shall endure; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

So.... thee ae 3 keys on my keyboad that aen't woking..... This is why I haven't blogged much.... It's not much o an excuse, but I'm using it.... eally though, I neve knew it would be such a pain o the and the to not be unctioning..... Can you guess which 3 keys aen't woking? I think it's aily obvious.... We'll see...

Top Ten Reasons I Love Being Married.

Nate was gone this weekend.... I spent my first time alone in our apartment for TWO WHOLE nights! I only had a minor melt down which resulted in borrowing princess sparkles for the night... shhh.... don't tell the landlord. Anyway, I missed him a lot. He's now home and fevered.... I can't touch him. I will NOT get sick. I will NOTTT.

SO.... there are way more than ten, but here's what I've got today...

10. Hannah Montana And Ramen Noodles.
9. Back Rubs.
8. Our bed gets made.
7. Guess Who.... we play it all the time. I always win.
6. snuggling.
5. more than snuggling.
4. Breakfast together.
3. Running Together.
2. Growing together.
1. The best by far is having someone to sleep next to.... someone to be safe with.... someone to tell you you're beautiful..... someone to - ok I'll stop.

So good to have him home.
