So today I was enjoying a good diet coke when I remembered that I used to not be able to have that pleasure... But I did it, I went SIX straight weeks with 0 diet coke, 0 soda actually... It was a proud moment, but now I can happily walk down the pop aisle again, I like it better that way.

Yoga Booty Ballet...

It's just like it sounds... funny, awkward, and sweat provoking. My review would probably be insufficient since I stopped participating after just a few minutes and watched as Emily Littleton showed us her moves. However, randall thoroughly enjoyed it. When we were told to embrace our inner brilliance, Emily and I began giggling, but randall was all over his inner brilliance and in total meditation mode... I would also like to note that randall is ten times more flexible than me... When asked the truth about randall's workout schedule, friend and coworker, Rob Bergman said "randall is serious about his physique and whatever he can do to enhance it he'll do.... even if it is yoga booty". Who would have thought... So if you get a chance, check out yoga booty ballet. It's a great workout.

so.... I got a scooter. It's pretty cool. I like to ride it to the park. I have a matching helmet. At first I told everyone it was a moped... Correction: it is a scooter. In order for it to be a moped, it must have pedals. It all makes sense now.

I have the most AMAZING parents...

So this past weekend, my parents finally got a chance to come visit me. They got in around 10 on friday night and the rest was history... We did everything from MoPed shopping to cracker catching contests to worshipping in my church to watching hours upon hours of sports. I was so excited that they got to come see my church and my ministry and what I do on an average weekend. We also got to spend some time with Natey. My parents and I watched his impressive soccer game and then we came home to watch nebraska lose... :( Anyways, the hilite of the weekend was definitely introducing my parents to the staff of my church and showing them what life is like for me now that I have a semi-real job and live in an apartment. But I also loved going to skyline chili with them and talking about old memories of when we lived in Cincinnati... Those were the good old days. It was a great weekend... I'll tell you more about my mo-ped later...

Thanks for living on campus... Here's your rape whistle
So as a free gift from Anderson University for living on campus, every student received a rape whistle from their specified resident assistant. It's really cool... it has Anderson University engraved with the number of our security people. Unfortunately it's only the extension so if people don't know that the beginning of any AU number is (765) 641-, the 3333 will mean nothing to them. Also, if you are near Anderson University and have any whistle type instrument DO NOT blow it. You will receive a $50 fine. All that to say is, my rape whistle is happily attached to my car keys for any JIC instances...
